Education and preventative care is a key component in laying the groundwork for future healthy mouth habits for your children.
For your children, we recommend regular checkups starting at age three, or earlier if something does not appear right to you.
Parents, each night at bedtime, we recommend you floss between your child’s baby molar teeth, brush your child’s teeth for them, and avoid milk and juice drinks to give your child a greater chance of a cavity free childhood.
At the Northgate Dental Clinic, we offer a range of preventative services including: hygiene instruction, fluoride treatment, and sealants. In certain instances, your child will be referred for sedation or general anesthesia to manage their oral and dental conditions. Although we want to restore your child’s teeth to a healthy and functional state, we want the experience to be as positive as possible.
